There
are many treatments for yeast infection available,
unfortunately many drugs are ineffective and research
has made us realize that one of the most effective
treatments available is a natural one. We are not
saying that all drugs are ineffective we just prefer
combatting it by this effective natural resource.
Not to mention some of the danger many of these drugs
can pose on our body.
Yeast
infections are nothing to be ashamed about a large
percent of women have normally developed one at some
point in their lives and its not always a reflection
on hygiene, in fact there are situations when you
could be as hygienic as you like and you still develop
the infection.
Yeast
infections are different to sexually transmitted diseases
(STD) as a person who develops one may not necessarily
have caught it because of sexual intercourse. Although
a yeast infection can be passed this way to a partner
of the opposite sex. When this occurs treatments on
both parts is needed to stop the yeast infection being
spread back and forth.
Yeast
infections are recurring and normally would effect
women from their early teens until late thirties,
however there are situations when babies and elderly
people can develop symptoms
Once
a women has had a yeast infection its likely that
if one strikes again she would be able to identify
it correctly. Some women have trouble diagnosing the
infection themselves especially if they have not had
one before. Normally when itching is present followed
by a thick white creamy discharge along with a distinct
smell of bread or anything similar to a traditional
yeast smell- you would normally have the infection.
Some
women may experience slightly different symptoms that
are less likely, however still possible including
abdominal pain, painful sex, tiredness, joint pains,
mood swings. There are even more but these develop
more rare.
The
bottom line is that yeast infections are unpleasant
none the less, luckily there are many things you can
do to help in a short space of time.
