Women
are more prone to yeast infections, normally they
will recurr, there are however new treatments including
natural ones to control them completely.
Around
75% of women have experienced a yeast infection some
time in their life. Its not neccesarily a reflection
upon a persons hygiene as many factors apply.
Candida
is the fungus responsible for yeast infection, Candida
is present in small amounts on everyone but once the
natural balance is upset, a yeast infection is likely
to go wild. When this happens the patient must weigh
up the possibilities and treatments available. It
may also worth considering what may have flared the
infection up by looking at changes in your lifesyle,
food and clothes.
Sometimes
a yeast infection can be spread sexually, however
its worth noting that it does not mean it has developed
this way as the infection can progress on its own
aswel. So it does not neccessarily mean your partner
has caught it from someone else.
